The Ulvila family from Kalispell, MT., was enjoying a quiet morning on a Fort Lauderdale beach the first week of May. The sun was shining and the waves were crashing unusually hard and rough on the shore.

Not Every Story Has a Happy Ending
Waylin, a 24-year-old horse rescued by Hollow Creek Farm, wasn’t able to be nursed back to health, and was euthanized January 10. Waylin was starved and neglected by an owner for too long.
